Last night’s AEW Dynamite averaged 1.148 million viewers on TNT, up 12 percent from last week. It’s the third-highest audience for the show since it debuted in October 2019.
Dynamite is averaging exactly one million viewers over its last 10 Wednesday night airings, up considerably from what the show was doing when it was going head-to-head against NXT.
In the 18-49 demo, Dynamite drew a 0.44 rating, up 10 percent from last week. The actual viewership in that category was 575,000 viewers as compared to 518,000 last week.

This was the fifth-highest 18-49 demo rating in Dynamite’s history and the show’s best number so far in 2021. The April 14 Dynamite episode had the same rating, but this show had slightly more viewers.
As a comparison, this 18-49 number beat what Raw had done the three weeks prior to this week and the overall viewership is just 22 percent lower than what Raw averaged on July 5. That was the all-time low for Raw, but it’s still an incredible stat that would’ve been unthinkable just a few months ago.
Year-over-year, Dynamite was up 35.9 percent in overall viewership and up 37.5 percent in the demo. That’s the second straight week Dynamite has had year-over-year gains of over 30 percent in both categories.
As compared to the 10-week average of Wednesday Dynamite episodes prior to this week, as shown in the chart below, Dynamite was up 20.5 percent in overall viewers and up 25.7 percent in the demo. The gains would be higher if Dynamite’s Friday and Saturday episodes were included:
