Veteran pro wrestler Chuck Williams, better known by his ring name the Rockin’ Rebel, was found dead in his home this Friday morning alongside his wife, in what is being considered a murder-suicide.

According to numerous reports, including one from F4WOnline.com, local police arrived at the Williams’ home in West Chester, PA yesterday morning with family members already on-scene. The incident was ruled an apparent murder-suicide with no other suspects currently being considered. The couple was found in their living room by their son. It’s important to note that an official statement has yet to be made with regards to the actual cause of death, nor is there sufficient information to comment on who initiated the incident.

Williams, 52, was trained by the legendary Rocky Morton and Robert Gibson and adopted his nickname from the Rock ‘n Roll Express. He is primarily known for his work with east coast promotions, getting his start with Joel Goodheart’s Tri-State Wrestling Alliance in Philadelphia, which later became Eastern/Extreme Championship Wrestling, where he competed against names like The Sandman, Stevie Richards, Mikey Whipwreck and Tommy Dreamer. Some of his later ECW matches can also be found on the WWE Network.
