According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has been eyeing several talents as possible new Performance Center recruits, and all three of the women the company is considering are no strangers to a WWE ring.

The first is top independent talent and daughter of Hall of Famer Tully Blanchard, Tessa Blanchard. WWE scouts were reportedly at the last SHIMMER event and felt Blanchard was a standout. The second-generation wrestler competed in the first ever Mae Young Classic last year, and despite impressing officials in the tournament, she was never offered a deal. The Wrestling Observer pointed to possible attitude issues as to why Blanchard went unsigned after the tournament.

The second talent is Mercedes Martinez, who also competed in the Mae Young Classic, and was said to have impressed WWE officials at the SHIMMER event.

The third talent is Jazzy Gabert, who also competed in the Mae Young Classic, and although she was offered a WWE contract after the tournament, medical examinations revealed a neck injury back in October of last year forcing the company to withdraw the contract offer.
