L’Équipe report this afternoon that Troyes are looking to make one final signing this transfer window before tonight’s deadline, notably by bringing Mainz midfielder Angelo Fulgini back to France.

The former French youth international, who spent five seasons at Angers, appears to be a difficult transfer to pull off for the Aube outfit, who have also brought in Lyon midfielder Jeff Reine-Adélaïde on loan, a move that was confirmed yesterday.

The Abidjan-born player has made 16 league appearances since making the move across the Rhine, although the majority of those have been substitute cameos for the German top flight’s 11th-placed side. He joined the Bundesliga club this summer on a four-year deal.

In his time with the Anjou club, the versatile midfielder racked up 160 appearances, finding the net 24 times and registering 17 assists, and had previously spent two years in the senior side of formative club Valenciennes.
