Fabrizio Romano reports this morning that Lille have entered talks to sign Nantes attacking midfielder Ludovic Blas, with newly-arrived manager Paulo Fonseca interested in bringing in the Frenchman.

Along with goalkeeper Alban Lafont, Blas is among the Nantes players who have been offered around Europe during the transfer window for €20m fees by Mogi Bayat, an influential agent who is close to Les Canaris.

Blas notably scored the winner from the spot in the Coupe de France final against Nice in May, to add to his ten goals over the course of an impressive season. In all competitions, his scoring tally rises to fifteen.

The French youth international joined Nantes from Guingamp at the end of the 2019 summer window, after a four-season spell at his formative club Guingamp during which he had already made just over a century of top flight appearances.

The 24-year-old, who is due to start a Europa League group stage campaign with Les Canaris this coming season, will reportedly leave the club based on the project put forward to him.
