22-year-old Brazilian central defender Gabriel has arrived in London to complete a move to Arsenal, according to sources contacted by Get French Football News.
The Brazilian will join the Gunners on a 5-year contract after Lille accepted a €30m including guaranteed bonuses offer for the defensive talent. Gabriel will earn €2m a year net, not including built-in wage hikes into the agreement.

Speaking to So Foot reporter Freddie Paxton, the player’s representatives had the following to say:
“Arsenal was nowhere near the best proposal [money wise]. Gabriel chose them over more lucrative offers because Edu convinced us of the project. It’s 100% because of Edu Gaspar and Arteta.”
