Speaking to RMC Sport following Lyon’s elimination from the Champions’ League at the semi-final stage, Cameroonian international Karl Toko-Ekambi discussed OL’s lack of goals, losing 3-0 to Bayern Munich.
“We could have done better, score goals, me above everyone else. Luck was not on our side, we missed chances, congratulations to Bayern. We had chances. We played well, I do not think that they are unbeatable. We had to be above our level, we did not succeed in doing that. The first goal hurts us. We were not able to do the things to win. We have to keep the same spirit, same combativeness, to return to the Champions’ League.”
