Earlier today, Ligue 1 side Montpellier announced the signing of French midfielder Jordan Ferri from Lyon.

The deal cost MHSC an initial €2m, with a potential of up to €1.2m in additional bonuses included in the agreement for Lyon.

On top of that, Les Gones have a 30% sell-on percentage fee clause.

Ferri had been at Lyon since the age of 15, playing more than 200 games for the club and notably 35 in European competition.

The 27-year-old spent the second half of the 2018/19 campaign on loan with Nîmes and shone. A new chapter begins with La Paillade.
