RC Lens yesterday confirmed the signing of midfielder Yannick Gomis from fellow Ligue 2 side Orléans.
The 26-year-old Senegalese attacking midfielder will move to the Stade Bollaert-Delelis after two seasons at Orléans, which he notched 14 goals in 57 appearances and had only one year remaining on his contract.
The transfer will be a huge blow to Orléans manager Didier Ollé-Nicolle who loses the club’s top scorer.
The transfer fee is undisclosed.
