Presse-Océan and 20 Minutes are reporting today that Ligue 1 side Nantes are set to lose two key players in the next 6 months as negotiations with both Léo Dubois and Adrien Thomasson over contract extensions continue to fail – both have contracts which will expire at the end of the current campaign.

Thomasson has interest from SM Caen, a side that already tried to pick up the former Evian man in summer.

Dubois is understood to already have a gentleman’s agreement with a top 6 French side, with Nice, Bordeaux and Marseille all considered to be possible participants in such a deal.

Dubois nearly signed an extension this summer, but Nantes President Kita called off negotiations when it emerged that the player’s agent wanted to insert a release clause into his client’s new contract.
