On the second anniversary of demonetisation, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, has defended the controversial move, saying the system required to be shaken to help India move from to a digital economy.
In a Facebook post, Jaitley said demonetisation was a key step in a chain of important decisions taken by the Government to formalise the economy.
