The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday filed a second chargesheet naming BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar as an accused in the Unnao gangrape case involving a 17 year old girl.
In its chargesheet, the CBI said that Senger has been charged for rape along with accomplice Shashi Singh, who allegedly stood guard outside the room when the crime happened in June last year, as alleged by the girl. Senger has also been charged under POCSO Act, according to the chargesheet.
As per the investigation, the rape happened between 7 and 8 pm on June 4, 2017.
