– Brock Lesnar accepted Triple H’s challenge for a match at this year’s WrestleMania 29 on RAW. However, Paul Heyman announced that Lesnar will only accept if Triple H agrees to allow Lesnar to pick the match stipulations after the match has been booked.
– This year’s WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view drew approximately 498,000 buys, according to new data released by WWE. That’s up approximately 14% from the prior year, which did 438,000 buys.
This year’s Rumble, headlined by CM Punk vs. The Rock and John Cena earning a WWE title shot at WrestleMania, did 322,000 buys in North America and 176,000 internationally.
