Arsenal’s Head of Recruitment Sven Mislintat has a keen interest in bringing French youth international and Mainz central defender Abdou Diallo to the Emirates this summer.
Gianluca Di Marzio reported this afternoon that alongside the Gunners, Borussia Dortmund are also interested in the player, with BVB currently leading the race for the 22-year-old.
Get French Football News has learnt that contact was first made by the London club for the player at the beginning of this season, and that Mislintat has been a keen admirer of Diallo since his AS Monaco reserve days.
