Delta Airlines said Tuesday it has lifted a ground stop on domestic flights, which were briefly halted nationwide after a technology issue interrupted some of its systems.
The announcement at 8:30 p.m. EDT has forced flights across the country to be halted, but they were back in the air less than an hour later.
“Some,” but not all of its computer systems were affected, the airline said.
In the original statement, the airline said there had “been no disruption or safety issue with any Delta flight currently in the air.”
