— The ECW roster is in dire need of some new talent, especially considering that they seem to feature the same match-ups week after with week. They only have 11 active wrestlers on the roster if you take away Matt Striker, who rarely wrestles, and The Boogeyman, who may be out of action for a while after being squashed by Big Daddy V two weeks ago. Anyway, expect to see WWE imminently expand the ECW talent roster by bringing up some new talent from developmental.
— WWE is already running ads in Canada for the Cyber Sunday pay-per-view that takes place in Washington D.C. in four weeks. The double main event is Randy Orton vs. John Cena in a pick the stipulation match (Hell in a Cell, Lumberjack match and an unspecified third one); and Undertaker vs. Batista vs. Mark Henry vs. Great Khali with fans picking the referee. The choices are “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, Mick Foley or “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.
— “Rowdy” Roddy Piper appeared at the G.I. Joe Convention in Atlanta this weekend because they made an honorary G.I. Joe figure of him. Piper said he would be doing a movie with Jack Black. He also told people he would be appearing in a role at WWE’s Cyber Sunday pay-per-view.
