Highly coveted attacking midfielder Enzo Le Fée (22) is set to remain at Lorient for the upcoming season amidst links to German clubs and Ligue 1 rivals Rennes, according to Mohamed Toubache-Ter.

The France U21 international has one year left on his current deal at his boyhood club and is currently negotiating a contract extension with them after announcing that he will stay.

Having come through the ranks at Lorient, he has gone on to make over 100 appearances for the senior side and registered 10 assists in that time.

Speaking to RMC in late June, the player’s agent, Emmanuel Lacroix, revealed advanced talks with two German clubs but explained at the time that the French youth international could remain at Lorient.

Not only is Le Fée set to stay, but he is also set to renew his contract, which was due to expire at the end of the 2022/23 season. Last season, he featured in all but two of Lorient’s Ligue 1 fixtures as they avoided the drop to Ligue 2.
