Goal France report that 23-year-old winger Raphinha is the subject of an approach from Premier League side Leeds United, who are trying to sign him before Monday’s deadline.

The Brazilian was signed by SRFC last summer for €21m from Sporting Portugal, with the Whites currently working to convince the Brittany side to part with their #7.

LUFC have made an opening bid, but the size of that offer has not yet filtered through – at the moment, we don’t know if it will be enough to convince Florian Maurice and Nicolas Holveck to sell the talent.

A source close to the situation says that not only will it be difficult for Leeds to agree a fee, but also there will be administrative issues, as Raphinha would need a work permit to play in England.
