La Provence report that Premier League side Newcastle United are interested in signing 21-year-old Senegalese attacker Bamba Dieng.
Contrary to reporting in England, no firm offer has yet been received by Marseille from The Magpies, but their interest is real, and they have scouted the player on multiple occasions, just like West Ham, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace have.
