Ligue 2 side Lorient last night confirmed the arrival of 20-year-old French attacker from Brittany rivals Rennes on loan without an option to buy.
Laurienté had interest from a myriad of French 2nd division sides, but decided that he wanted to play a role in Les Merlus’ push to return to the top flight under Christophe Pelissier.
He spent last season in Ligue 2 on loan with Orléans.
