L’Équipe report that Ligue 1 sides Rennes and Angers came to an agreement this weekend over the transfer of French attacker Flavien Tait.

After the Brittany side saw an initial €8m proposal rejected by Le SCO, the latter club have since accepted an improved offer believed to be €10m.

The 26-year-old had been the subject of interest from Gladbach, but Rennes President Olivier Létang succeeded in convincing the Frenchman to sign a long-term deal with the Europa League-qualified club.

He is expected to undergo a medical shortly and the deal could be announced as quickly as tomorrow.
