Thanksto rajah.com reader Rem Martinez for sending this in:

Hey guys. I just got back from the Smackdown Live Brand House Show at the
Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California. There were a lot of
empty seats, mainly in the upper section of the arena. Greg Hamilton welcomes
us to the Road to Wrestlemania show and we are underway. We get a
pre-recorded welcome from Smackdown Live General Manager, Daniel Bryan. He
gets a Yes Chant going.

Match #1

New Day (Xavier Woods & Big E w/ Kofi Kingston) vs Aiden English & Rusev vs
Shelton Benjamin & Chad Gable vs The Usos (c) in a Fatal Four Way Match for
the Smackdown Tag Team Championship

Plenty of Rusev Day and New Day Rocks chants to get us started. Benjamin and
Gable were heels in this match, while the other 3 teams were treated as
babyfaces. A fun match with plenty of action. This match also had the most
number of blind tags that I have ever seen in one match. Match ends when Chad
Gable eats a Double Superkick from the Usos and is pinned for the 1-2-3.
Match went about 15-20 minutes.

Winners: And Still Smackdown Tag Team Champions: The Usos

Good choice for an opener

Match #2

Mike Kanellis vs Sin Cara

Mike made sure we saw his jacket with Maria’s face airbrushed on it. He kept
yelling “I’m in Love!!!!” I’m just glad to see Mike back on the road and most
importantly, clean. After the bell rang, Mike retreated to the outside and
grabbed his jacket. He proceeded to kiss the image of his wife, much to the
delight of the crowd. Sin Cara then stole the jacket and pretended he was a
bullfighter. Mike played his part and charged like an angry bull
(unsuccessfully). Sin Cara put Lover Boy away with the Senton Bomb. 1-2-3.

Winner: Sin Cara

So much for the Power of Love

Match #3

Tye Dillinger vs Mojo Rawley

This match was a snoozefest. Wrestlemania is coming up, but this match was
Rest Hold Mania. Tye had Mojo set up for the Tye Breaker, but Mojo eye-raked
the Perfect 10. Mojo Rawley put away Tye Dillinger with his Running Forearm
Smash finisher for the 1-2-3.

Winner: Mojo Rawley

On the tron, we see a brief episode of the Fashion Files. Tyler Breeze kept
calling the event WWE Live (as in Living). Fandango tried unsuccessfully to
correct him. It was actually enjoyable.

Match #4

The Bludgeon Brothers vs Breezango

I think the Fashion Files segment was as long as this glorified squash match.
Breezango used their speed advantage and got in some early offense. That
didn’t last long. Harper and Rowan put Fandango away with an assisted Sit
Down Powerbomb for the 1-2-3.

Winners: The Bludgeon Brothers

Sunil Singh comes out and cuts a promo. He says the Modern Day Maharaja will
be the new U.S. Champion. Jinder Mahal comes out and says he will Liberate
the United States Title from a fraud Champion.

Match #5

Bobby Roode (c) vs Jinder Mahal w/ Sunil Singh for the WWE United States
Championship

Say what you will about Jinder Mahal, but the man is a heat magnet. This was
a very enjoyable match. Sunil Singh interfered a lot during this contest.
Just a random thought, I miss the Bollywood Boys. Sunil was on the apron and
Bobby Roode was going to get him. Mahal tries to cheap shot Roode, but Bobby
avoids it and Jinder hits Sunil instead. Mahal is stunned and turns around
right into a Glorious DDT from the Champ. 1-2-3.

Winner: And Still WWE United States Champion: Bobby Roode

Match #6

Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch and Naomi vs The Riott Squad

The faces all received a nice reaction, but the Smackdown Women’s Champion
got the biggest pop from the crowd. Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan could use a

little more polishing in the ring, but they weren’t bad by any stretch. Becky
spent most the match isolated from her corner. She eventually made the hot
tag to Charlotte and the Queen cleaned house. Charlotte put Liv Morgan away
with the Figure 8 for the Submission win.

Winners: Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch and Naomi by
Submission

Match #7

Dolph Ziggler vs Shinsuke Nakamura

The crowd exploded for 2018 Men’s Royal Rumble Winner. This match took a
while to get going. Once it did, it was a solid back and forth affair.
Shinsuke kicked out of the Zig Zag to frustrate Ziggler. The King of Strong
Style eventually puts the former World Champion away with the Kinshasa for
the 1-2-3.

Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura

Greg Hamilton thanks us for coming as we get ready for our Main Event.

Main Event

Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn vs Baron Corbin vs AJ Styles (c) in a Fatal Four Way
Match for the WWE Championship

This match was originally scheduled to be AJ Styles defending the title
against Zayn/Owens in a 2 on 1 Handicap Match. I think this was a far better
idea. Sami and Kevin retreated when the bell rang. They wanted AJ and Baron
to go at it. Instead, AJ and Baron went after Zayn and Owens. Everyone got
their stuff in during this contest. Sami Zayn went for a Helluva Kick on the
WWE Champion, but AJ Styles moved and Zayn kicked Owens (who was standing on
the apron) AJ hits the Styles Clash on Sami Zayn for the 1-2-3.

Winner: And Still WWE Champion: AJ Styles
