Goal France report that Guinea winger François Kamano and Moroccan international midfielder Youssef Ait Bennasser are both ok in principle to make the proposed switch move between AS Monaco and Bordeaux.

ASM boss Leonardo Jardim remains hell-bent on signing Bordeaux winger Kamano, who he tried to recruit last winter. Bordeaux want €15m for a player that they have under contract for another 24 months, but are willing to let him go.

As for Ait Bennasser, he views the challenge that Bordeaux could provide him with as a real opportunity. He spent the second half of last season on loan at St Étienne and is completely sold on the project offered to him by Paulo Sousa.

The Moroccan was left out of Monaco’s pre-season tour in Portugal. Whilst both clubs are closer to an agreement, they still have yet to reach one.

With this situation ongoing, and negotiations being blocked somewhat, other clubs are trying to take advantage.

L’Équipe reported that Torino had made an approach at the end of this week for Kamano.
